The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest footpath (Main trail: 845 km/530 mi), provides the only public access to the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The trail begins by Niagara Falls, and travels north up to the Georgian Bay area. There are plentiful waterfalls and interesting vegetation, including a myriad of fern varieties. Guests may hike or cross country ski the Trail.
