    Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Ski Trails

    Kolapore Uplands is located in the Blue Mountain region of the scenic Niagara Escarpment. The well-marked trails are approximately 50 km (31 mi) in length. Most of the trails are suited for skiers of intermediate or advanced abilities. Mountain bikers will find the trails enjoyable as well.

    Park-to-Park Trail

    This all season, multi-use trail will cover 230 kms between Killbear Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park, thus linking seven of Ontario's provincial parks. Minimum usage will be hiking and biking although each Municipality will determine other trail uses which may include horseback riding, snowmobiling, dog sledding, cross-country skiing and ATV's. Please call to verify trail uses in your area.

    Minnesing Mountain Bike Trail
    This mountain bike only trail has four loops that range from 4.7 to 23.4 km in length. The trail is officially open from late June until mid-October. For off-season use, please phone.

    Old Railway Bike Trail
    This trail once felt the weight of the Ottawa, Arnprior, and Parry Sound Railway. The tracks were laid down in 1895, and have recently been removed to make way for bikers of all ages.

    The Rotary and Algonquin Regiment Fitness Trail

    This path takes visitors along the breathtaking Parry Sound shores, allowing for stunning views of the Georgian Bay. Runners, cyclists and walkers can utilize the workout stations that are situated at regular intervals. The entire length of the trail is approximately 5 kms (3.15 miles). Part of the Park-To-Park Trail system.

    Seguin Recreational Trail

    The Seguin Recreational Trail, at 61 kms, is an important link in the Park-To-Park Trail. This four season, shared use trail permits snowmobiling, dog sledding and cross country skiing in the winter. Hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATV use are allowed uses during other seasons. The path follows both hardwood forests and rock backdrops. Parking is available at the Parry Sound Information Centre. Please call Park-To-Park Trail for access points and to verify trail uses.

    Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve

    Be it warm or cold weather, an array of activities can be found at Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve. Whiz along the over 300 km of mountain bike and wilderness trails. Or mush a team of Siberian Huskies. Snowmobiling, camping and other activities are also options.
